Established in 1963 under the aegis of the Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust (RSST), RV College of Engineering (RVCE) is one of India's oldest and most prestigious private engineering institutions. Affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, RVCE has consistently maintained its reputation as a leading technical institution in the country.
The college offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs, including 12 Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) courses, 21 Master of Technology (M.Tech.) programs, and several Ph.D. research opportunities. Admission to undergraduate programs is primarily based on Karnataka CET (KCET), COMEDK UGET, and Management Quota admissions. For postgraduate programs, candidates can seek admission through GATE or Karnataka PGCET scores.

About Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust (RSST)
The Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust, headquartered in Jayanagar, Bangalore, was founded in 1940 by Sri Sivananda Sarma. It was formally registered as a trust in 1964 and currently manages more than 25 educational institutions, serving over 17,000 students.
RV College of Engineering was established through the efforts of Sri Sivananda Sarma and Sri M. Kasturiranga Setty. Initially, the college offered degree programs in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering, operating from the R.V. Teachers College campus in Jayanagar.

RVCE Admission Process
Admission to the First-Year B.E. program is offered through KCET, COMEDK UGET, and Management Quota seats as per the guidelines issued by the Government of Karnataka and VTU from time to time.
Candidates seeking admission must have successfully completed the 2nd PUC (10+2) or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects from a recognized board.
